AZA (TISSUES AND ORGANS):

The aza comes on number four in umoor tabiyah. Ali Ibn Al-Abbas says; akhlat (humours) are the proximate principle for the human body. But the more proximate are aza basitah (cells and tissues which are composed of akhlat) and aza aliyah (organs) are composed of aza basitah.

CLASSIFICATION OF AZA:

According to Tibb aza have been divided into two categories;

  1. Aza basitah (simple organs -cells & tissues )
  2. Aza Murkkabah (compound organs, organs or membranes)

AZA BASITAH

  1. Izam (bones) or bony tissue
  2. Ghazarif (cartilages) or cartilaginous tissues.
  3. Rabat (ligaments) or white fibrous tissue.
  4. Watr (tendons)
  5. Ghisha (membranes and epithelial tissues)
  6. Shahm ((Fat) or adipose tissue.
  7. Lahm (muscles) or muscular tissue.
  8. Asab (nerve) or nervous tissue.

AZA MURAKKABAH:

The aza murakkabah (compound organs) are those which are heterogeneous and are composed of many aza basitah (simple organs- tissues). These are also known as aza aliyah (mechanical organs) e.g. hands , foot , Stomach , Intestine , Brain , etc.
