Causes of men's sexual failures

By: Dr (Hakeem) Aslam Javed

A robust sexual relation is a key factor for a husband and his wife to maintain their overall good relation and live a happy married life. But generally, a man ejaculates prematurely while his wife remains unquenched. This is a cause of big frustration not only for the females but also for men as it can cause a rift in their overall relationship. Indeed, it transforms their life into a punishment. These frustrated pairs do not gather courage to reveal their condition to an expert/doctor due to their inhibitions, and thus their happy life becomes a hell. There can be several causes of premature ejaculation which will be discussed later. First, it is good to discuss about the main sexual organs that play key roles in making one's sexual relation either good or bad. Male Reproductive System:

Testes:

Testes are the most vital sexual organs of the male reproductive system. They are the glands (two balls) where sperm and testosterone are produced. At puberty, each ball has six layers, and is around one and half inch long, one inch wide and around one and quarter inch thick, and weighs around 25 grams. The left ball is usually bigger in size. The glands inside these balls produce sex hormone which mixes with the blood flow. There are compartments or lobules inside the balls where sperm is produced and kept. Sperm travels through the testis from the tubules through a network of ducts. During ejaculation, the urine duct/pipe is closed, so that the sperm containing semen can use this pipe (duct) to come out.

Epididymis:

Epididymis is a highly convoluted duct behind the testis along which the spermatozoa passes. In other words, it is a coiled mass of thin tubes that carries sperm from the testes to the ductus deferens.

Vasa defrensia:

Vasa defrensia are two ejaculatory ducts of the testes. Each duct is around two feet long. The sperm is produced inside the testes and then gets deposited in these ducts.

Scrotum:

Scrotum is a pouch in the males that holds the two testes. It is made of suspended sack of skin and smooth muscles and is dual chambered.

Seminal vesicles:

Seminal vesicles are a pair of glands that are found below the urinary bladder and open into the vas deferens. It is one of the most vital reproductive organs and secretes many of the components of semen.

Prostate gland:

Prostate gland surrounds the neck of the bladder in males and releases a fluid component of semen. The walnut-sized gland is located between the bladder and the penis.

Spermatic cord:

It is a cord-like structure (a bundle of fibres and tissues) in males that runs through the abdominal region down to the testicles.

Penis:

Penis plays a very vital role in male reproductive system. This is the male organ through which a man's sperm containing semen reach a woman's womb. It also serves as a urinal duct in males. It contains soft tissues, nerves and blood veins. Now, let us discuss about the conditions that fail a man in his sexual acts.

Nocturnal emissions:

Also known as 'nightfall' or 'wet dream', nocturnal emissions are usually caused by the bad habits among males during their childhood and adolescence days. It is an involuntary ejaculation during sleep and is common during adolescence. In this condition, a young boy usually copulates with a female in his dream and ejaculates, but it can also happen without seeing a dream.

Nocturnal emissions can cause physical weakness, mental fatigue, body pain, headache, and a man finds it tough to focus on his work or is very tired to do that. Symptoms also include semen flow with the urine, back pain and bad thoughts. They find it tough to marry on time and pass their time reading dirty literature or watching blue films. These people tend to wake up till late in the night and sleep during daytime, consume a lot of pickles and spices and pass their time among women. They also drink a lot of water when on bed. Taking hot milk just before going to bed is also a cause of nocturnal emissions. If nocturnal emissions happen once or twice a month, one does not need to be anxious. But if tends to happen more often, you need to consult a sexologist and change your lifestyle.

Premature ejaculation: A lot of men suffer from premature ejaculation, in which they ejaculate before penetrating their wives or just after penetration. This is a serious matter as it causes frustration and depression and men feel embarrassed and less confident. Slowly the condition becomes grim as men ejaculates very soon leaving their wives totally dissatisfied. Soon after ejaculation, the penis becomes flaccid and is unable to penetrate. Since the woman does not feel satisfied, she begins to admonish and hate her man. Causes of men's sexual failures: The above mentioned conditions are caused by the bad habits during adolescence such as excessive masturbation, homosexuality, dependence on dirty literature and films. Symptoms include thin semen, excessive quantity of semen, sexual diseases such as syphilis.
Usually men destroy or weaken their sexual powers when they are young by indulging in bad acts such as masturbation and brothel visits. Their semen becomes thin and their manhood weakens by the time they become marriageable. Consequently they begin to suffer from premature ejaculation. Such men fail to quench or satisfy their wives.

How to stop premature ejaculation?

If premature ejaculations happen more often, men need to develop restraint and control their desires. They should first indulge with their partners in long and active foreplay before they begin penetration. It is advisable to avoid bed and opt for the floor where they can put a mattress. Men can use sensitivity-minimizing cream on their penis as it delays ejaculation. But in some cases, the premature ejaculation is so severe that a lot of men ejaculate even during foreplay. These men are advised not to indulge in any sexual act and should consult a qualified sexologist/hakim first. If they do not seek an expert's advice and indulge in sexual acts, they knowingly put their wives on the path of infidelity.

Men also fail sexually if their wives do not cooperate, or in certain occasions are not willing to have a sexual relation but do it due to compulsion. A forced sex is a failed sex. in such acts, men reach orgasm, but fail to quench their wives. In a robust and successful sexual relation, both partners need to be willing. They need to support each other mentally as well physically. They need to learn the art of lovemaking and men should address their problems before going to their wives. When both partners are willing and strong, their joy becomes double and they both achieve orgasm.

There is also another reason why men ejaculate sooner than their wives. Since men have to use force and their semen needs to travel less distance, they tend to ejaculate sooner. It also happens when men indulge in a sexual act after a long gap. Then it becomes very hard for them to hold for long, but this condition is momentary and goes away after a few days. Men also fail during sexual acts if they are very tired physically or mentally.

So it is very necessary to relax and gather energy before indulging in a sexual act. Men should use foreplay and sweet talks to arouse their wives before actual sex or penetration. A good foreplay warms up a woman adequately and makes her physically and mentally ready for sex.
